Holidays in Plettenberg Bay

Author: admin

Plettenberg Bay is undoubtedly one of the greatest locations in South Africa as a destination for your holiday. For long streches you can see and walk the white sandy beaches and get lost in the feeling of total relaxation. The miles of beaches of Plettenberg Bay makes you feel as if you are on a lost island.

This is where you will find great weather. In Plettenberg Bay you will find that this town has the best weather in the Western Cape. The sun is also shining for about 300 days of the year, and let you enjoy your stay.

Accommodation Western Cape

Whale Watching is one of the best tourist attractions around the Plett area. Even watching them from the Robberg Beach, you can see these huge mammals enjoying the warm waters of the bay, feeding their calves. They are in Plett from about July until January, but you might see the most of them during September.

The Robberg Nature Reserve is also a great tourist attraction and maybe this is because you stand at the southern point of Africa overlooking the vast ocean. The Island in the Robberg Nature Reserve is for any nature lover. It makes you feel close to nature.

Accommodation Plettenberg Bay

Getting available accommodatio on the Garden Route might be difficult especially over the holiday season over Christmas. Lots of Gauteng visitors and also overseas visitors come to plett every year and if you want to find good Holiday Accommodation you need to book early. Many people do rent their houses for the visitors while they go and explore other places. Many of them will take the opportunity to go for an annual holiday while others will seek out the opportunity to just go camping in the Caravan Park down the road. No matter where you stay in Plettenberg Bay, you will have the time of your life.

Accommodation Knysna

Maybe the one thing about this area which still blows me away me is the awesome sunrises. Experiencing a sunrise here is a scene which will stay with you for always. Make sure you get up early enough and have your camera ready. You are about to get some excellent pictures.

Only a few kilometers away is the great next door town of Knysna. Wander around at the Waterfront or visit the The Heads
