Sharper 6 Pack Abs in 2 Weeks? Here is How it is Done!

Wouldn’t it be great to enhance your somewhat defined abs into 6 pack abs in 2 weeks? Do you have a vacation or special event and want your abs to be sharper than ever? Your abs can be “vacation ready” in just two weeks, as long as you take the steps outlined in the following article. Appropriate groundwork and timing will have a major influence on your success.

Two Weeks Prior to Your Vacation, Increase Your Ab Workouts to 5-6 Days Weekly

Normally, ab exercises should only be performed three days a week. Hanging leg raises are the exercise that I think should be the primary focus of any ab workout. When you work your abs with leg raises, you will insure that your lower abs are as defined as your upper abs. If you workout is focused on crunches it is easy to have great upper abs but lower abs that lag behind.

Alternate the Leg Raise Based Workouts With Stability Workouts

So on some days your entire ab workouts will consist of nothing but 3-4 sets of hanging leg raises followed by 3-4 sets of lying leg raises. Perform 15-20 reps of each of these sets. This will be plenty and will fatigue your abs and entire mid section to the max. The following day focus on stability exercises like planks. You can also add 3-4 sets of the ab wheel for maximum ab effect, if the leg raises haven’t done your abs in already. The whole mid section will benefit from both the ab wheel and the plank exercises.

Lower Sodium and Increase Water Intake the Final Week Before Vacation

You will want to increase your water consumption substantial in this last week before your special event. The clarity of your muscles get blurred due to water sitting just underneath the skin. Sometimes, this water retention can be mistaken for fat. During this week, drink more water and perform more cardio exercise. Work up a sweat on a cardio machine and sip and water while performing cardio. Allowing your body to build up a good sweat, will help to eliminate the sodium that is being retained beneath the skin. It is the sodium that is causing the water to be held there. Once your sweat no longer tastes salty, you have achieved your goal.

3-4 Days Prior to Your Vacation- Supplement with Dandelion Root

To ensure that your body is not retaining water, take some dandelion root. Dandelion Root prevents excess water from remaining in the body, and does this naturally. This is optional, but will work if you need to get as sharp as possible. Before a photo shoot, many in the modeling industry take the herb. While this method is not going to transform non-existent abs into something spectacular, if you have a base to work with, there is no reason why you can’t have well-defined abs in 2 weeks.
